Fixed Phones Improvements

Table/Room Number: Flip can now ask for a Table or Room number instead of only a name. Allowing fleets to give a better experience to Fixed Phones customers and allowing you to add more Restaurants and Hotels onto Fixed Phones.

 

Driver/Customer Notes: We have added an option so you are able to add a Driver and Customer notes. During the call, The customer note will be read out to the customer i.e. "The driver will meet at the main entrance". We have a number of preset messages however you can also opt for a custom message.

 

To setup / amend Fixed Phones navigate to: Flip Portal -> Configurations -> Inbound Calls -> Fixed Phones

New Customer Greeting Message  

Flip has introduced a setting for callers who ring your fleet to give them a different greeting based on their usage to enhance the caller experience.

 

1st Time Caller:

Thanks for calling Flip Taxis. This is your first call with us, so please listen closely! (Regular call flow then continues)

2nd Time Caller:

Hi Kelly, thanks for calling Flip Taxis. You've only called us a few times before, so please listen closely! (Regular call flow then continues)

 

3+ Calls:

Hi Kelly, thanks for calling Flip Taxis. (Regular call flow then continues)


No Calls in 30+ Days: 
Hi Kelly, thanks for calling Flip Taxis. You haven't called us in a little while, so please listen closely! (Regular call flow then continues)

Restrict Reservations that are less than an X time in advance

 

Flip now has the ability to restrict callers from pre-booking trips that are less than a specified time threshold.

If the caller is trying to book a reservation ride that is below the set number of minutes, Flip can advise the caller to call back at the time of the required trip, and then either hang up or send the caller to an operator.

Infrastructure and stability enhancements 

We conducted the penetration testing and analysis of the Flip CX platform between February 25, 2023, to February 26, 2023. Based on the Flip CX platform review, we can attest that Flip CX is aware of security best practices. They have attempted to ensure its systems and technologies are consistently deployed with industry best practices.

Unit number handling improvements for Australia Region

Flip has added a number of improvements for addresses with a unit numbers.
